Webflow · SaaS, B2B, brand-led marketing sites

Webflow built for founders who want a marketing site
they can actually edit.

Most agencies hand off a Webflow build that looks beautiful and is impossible to change. I deliver the inverse — a custom-designed, interaction-rich site with a CMS your marketing lead can update on a Tuesday morning without breaking anything. Nine years of platform work, all of it spent making sites that survive a content team taking the keys.

Who Webflow is for

Built for the kind of site that earns its CMS.

Webflow isn’t the right answer for every project. When it’s the right answer, it’s the cheapest path to a marketing site your team will actually maintain.

Webflow is right for you if

  • +Marketing site for a SaaS, B2B, or service business
  • +Brand-led editorial site where animation and interaction matter
  • +A marketing or content team that needs to ship new pages without filing a developer ticket
  • +Light commerce (under 200 SKUs, no complex variant logic)
  • +A budget that says “do it once, do it right” instead of “cheapest first”

Webflow is the wrong call if

  • You need real e-commerce with subscriptions, complex variants, or B2B pricing — use Shopify
  • You need deep editorial workflows or 500+ posts with author roles — use WordPress
  • You need a custom backend, login flows, or member-only content at scale
  • You’re trying to save $40/month on hosting — the platform fee is the deal
  • You have no one who will ever edit it — static HTML would be cheaper
The build

Three pillars. One Webflow site your team will keep.

Most Webflow agencies optimize for the case-study screenshot. I optimize for the day your marketing hire opens it for the first time and ships a new page without asking.

01

Custom design, not template guilt

Designed in Figma, built in Webflow with a real style system — color tokens, type scale, spacing variables. Not a $99 template with your logo swapped in.

Figma · Brand system · Custom build

02

A CMS structured to be used

Collections, fields, and reference relations modeled around how content will actually be created. Every editable element labeled in plain English. A 10-minute screen-recorded handoff your team will actually watch.

Collections · CMS schema · Editor handoff

03

Interactions tuned to brand

Scroll-driven transitions, hover states, and load animations built with Webflow’s native interactions panel — not jQuery hacks. Every motion respects prefers-reduced-motion and degrades cleanly on slow devices.

Interactions · Scroll triggers · Reduced-motion safe

Where Webflow shines

Five common engagements I’ve shipped on Webflow.

01

SaaS marketing site

Homepage, features, pricing, changelog, blog, and a careers page that your founders can actually update. CMS-driven case studies and integration pages so adding the next integration is a 20-minute job, not a sprint.

02

B2B service site with case studies

Agency or consultancy site where the case study collection IS the sales tool. Reference fields linking services to case studies to testimonials, so a sales team adding a new win lights up the rest of the site automatically.

03

Brand-led editorial site

Lookbook-style marketing site for fashion, design, or hospitality brands where the photography is the product. Scroll-driven reveals, sticky chapter marks, and image-first PDPs that feel curated, not e-commerce-y.

04

WordPress → Webflow migration

For founders tired of plugin sprawl, security updates, and the WP admin. URL structure preserved, redirects mapped, SEO carried over. Typical migration: 3–4 weeks for a 30-page marketing site.

05

Light commerce + content hybrid

Under 200 SKUs, no complex variants. Editorial product storytelling with Webflow Ecommerce checkout. The right call when content sells the product more than the cart does.

Numbers to set expectations

What a Webflow engagement typically looks like.

Marketing site

$3.5K – $9K fixed

5–10 page marketing site with light CMS. Includes design, build, and handoff. Custom hosting setup included.

CMS-heavy build

$7K – $15K fixed

Dynamic templates, collection-driven case studies, blog, integrations directory, multilingual setup. Where a marketing team will actually live.

Build cadence

3–5 weeks typical

Kickoff to launch for a marketing site of normal complexity. CMS-heavy or migration projects: 5–8 weeks.

Mobile Lighthouse

88+ shipped

Average mobile Lighthouse score at launch. Webflow’s native CDN + careful asset choices land sub-2s LCP on most builds.

Handoff time

10 min Loom

A screen-recorded walkthrough of every editable section. Your marketing lead can publish a new page the same day they watch it.

Post-launch

30 days included

Real-traffic bug fixes, CMS schema tweaks, and one round of post-launch feedback included. After that, lightweight monthly retainer if you want.

How a build moves

Three steps. Zero friction. Fully async.

Built around how US and UK founders actually work — async-first, fixed-price, escrow-protected. No retainers, no surprises, no monthly hours.

01

15-min scope call

Free · No pitch

You send a URL of what you’re running. I audit it before we talk. On the call I walk you through three things I’d change first, and we figure out together whether Webflow is even the right answer. If it’s not, I’ll tell you.

02

Fixed-price build sprint

Escrow-funded via Upwork

Daily Loom updates on what shipped. Two design check-ins built into the timeline so we catch direction issues at week one, not week four. Every milestone is funded into Upwork escrow before I start — zero contract risk on your end.

03

Launch + 30-day support

Included · No retainer required

A real-traffic monitoring window of 30 days. Bug fixes, CMS schema tweaks, one round of editor feedback included. A 10-minute screen-recorded handoff your marketing team will actually watch. After that, optional monthly retainer if you want me on call.

FAQs

The honest answers founders ask first.

Why pick Webflow over WordPress or a custom build? +
Because the people who edit the site after launch aren’t developers. Webflow gives your team a visual editor that respects the design system, with native hosting and CDN included. For SaaS, B2B and brand-led marketing sites, that combination beats WordPress in maintenance and beats a custom build in handoff time. The trade-off: less custom backend logic, lower SKU ceiling for commerce.
What does a typical Webflow build cost? +
Marketing sites land between $3.5K and $9K, fixed-price. CMS-heavy sites with dynamic templates, collections and rich interactions land between $7K and $15K. WordPress→Webflow migrations price separately after a content audit. You’ll get the exact number after the 15-minute scope call, with milestones written into Upwork escrow before I start.
Do you handle design too, or only the Webflow build? +
Both. I can take a Figma file and ship a pixel-accurate Webflow build, or take a brief and design + build the whole thing end-to-end. Most engagements are the second kind — the design and the build talking to each other from day one usually yields a better result than either in isolation.
Can you migrate my existing WordPress / Squarespace site to Webflow? +
Yes — this is one of the more common engagements. URL structure preserved, 301 redirects mapped, SEO carried over, content migrated into a proper CMS schema. Typical migration: 3–4 weeks for a 30-page marketing site. The post-migration audit is included.
What about the Webflow hosting fee? +
Webflow’s site plans run $14–$39/month depending on traffic and CMS items. That’s the deal — you’re paying for hosting, CDN, SSL, version history, and the editor. For most marketing sites it’s cheaper than WordPress when you factor in the hosting, security plugins, and CDN you’d otherwise stack.
What about SEO on Webflow? +
Webflow gives you proper control over titles, descriptions, alt text, canonical tags, structured data, and sitemap generation. The output HTML is clean and crawlable. The one thing to watch: Webflow doesn’t natively support some structured-data types that WordPress plugins offer — for those I drop custom JSON-LD into the page head. That’s a 10-minute job per template.
